Kiligolf opens the 'Dolly Aerodrome' with its first successful landing!

Captain Alex and his very happy wife Saskia

It may have taken some time to finish, but Kiligolf is extremely happy to announce the opening of the Dolly Aerodrome at the bottom of the golf and wildlife estate! The 1,500m airstrip was officially licenced by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority at the beginning of the week - just in time for one of Kiligolf's residents; Alex Rechsteiner to land his newly purchased aircraft!

The opening was celebrated in true Tanzanian style, with a group of over 60 residents and estate staff gathering to watch Alex land. Kiligolf was Alex's final stop on his epic journey that started almost 1 month ago in Kansas, USA. Alex, we are delighted to see you home and in one piece!

With a fully operational aerodrome and the opportunity to buy a hanger plot (to park and store your aircraft), Kiligolf hopes to see many more residents and visitors flying to and from the estate. We hope the aerodrome will open doors to many more people from all over East Africa (and beyond) who'd like to take advantage of our superb golf course!

A special shout out must go to Wei wei Bruins for being the first lady to win the fiddle with 19 points! Wei wei is one of Kiligolf's most regular players, and we are so happy that all her practice is paying off. Keep up the good work Wei wei!
